The Digital and Technology Team is responsible for managing Digital and Technology services for the Cabinet Office, the Department for Culture, Media and Sport and the Crown Commercial Service.

The Government is resetting its approach to technology. In the past, we had inflexible and out-dated technology because we were tied in to a lengthy, expensive, inflexible technology contract with a single IT provider.

Now we have designed and built a new service ourselves.  It will mean the government bringing high-quality technological capability back in-house, rather than outsourcing it.
